OBZ: Wie entstehen Ihre Songs?
CHARITY: How do my song develop? Every song is born a different way. My songwriting technique has changed over time. Lately I’m collecting bits of songs as I go until I feel I can piece them together as a whole.

OBZ: Sind Ihre Texte Erlebnisse und Erfahrungen aus Ihren eigenen Leben? Oder denken sie sich die Songs nur aus?
CHARITY: Both. I write from my experience as well as ideas and things I’ve observed. I suppose it’s personal either way.

OBZ: Ist Musik für sie ein Lebensgefühl? Sollte man Musik fühlen?
CHARITY: Music influences life and is influenced BY life. I can’t decide which one is more important to me.

OBZ: Schreiben sie auch für andere Künstler? Ist die Zusammenarbeit mit anderen, Ihnen sehr wichtig?
CHARITY: I would love to collaborate with other writers and artists!

OBZ: Spielen sie Ihre Musik immer Live? Ist das für sie, sehr wichtig?
CHARITY: I love to perform. It is very much a part of who I am as an artist.

OBZ: Hatten sie schon einmal ein peinliches Erlebnis? Auf einem Konzert? Oder bei einem anderen Event / Ereignis?
CHARITY: I was really shy when I first starting singing in public! I had to overcome feeling sick before every performance!

OBZ: Mit wem würden sie gerne mal Zusammenarbeiten? Zusammen Musik machen?
CHARITY: Oh wow, I have a long list of artists, writers, and producers that I’d like to collaborate with. From Dolly Parton to Ludacris!

OBZ: Würden sie auch gerne mal an einem deutschen Projekt teilnehmen / mitmachen?
CHARITY: i’d love to come and do shows in Germany!
Hopefully my music is embraced there, as well as other parts of Europe!

OBZ: Was war für sie das schönste Erlebnis mit einen Fan oder mit einigen Fans in Ihren Leben?
CHARITY: I REALLY do have the best fans! They are so invested in me and provide endless support! I’m always tickled to learn about them!

OBZ: Ist der persönliche Kontakt mit Ihren Fans Ihnen sehr wichtig?
CHARITY: Oh yes!

OBZ: Waren sie schon einmal in Deutschland? Hatten sie in Deutschland schon mal einen Auftritt?
CHARITY: I have been to germany! I haven’t yet had the pleasure to perform there yet…maybe soon

OBZ: Was ist das wichtigste in Ihrem Leben?
CHARITY: My faith.

OBZ: Haben sie ein Traumprojekt (z.B. Filmmusik)?
CHARITY: My dream project would be to publish an art book! (it’s on my „To Do“ list!

OBZ: Was möchten sie Ihren Fans sagen?
CHARITY: Mostly thank you for giving me your ears and heart!

OBZ: Wenn sie einen Wunsch frei hättest, was würden sie sich wünschen?
CHARITY: Right this minute? A midnight snack! Ha! Maybe that answer should have been world peace.
