Mitch Branson ist vielen Fans der internationalen Gay-Erwachsenenunterhaltung als erfolgreicher Darsteller bekannt. Der in San Francisco, Kalifornien, geborene Künstler machte sich insbesondere durch seine Arbeit für das renommierte Studio Colt einen Namen und entwickelte sich im Laufe seiner Karriere zu einem der bekanntesten Gesichter der Branche. Bis heute lebt und arbeitet er in seiner Heimatstadt San Francisco, die seit Jahrzehnten als eines der kulturellen Zentren der LGBTQ+-Community gilt.

Doch Mitch Branson beschränkte sich nie ausschließlich auf seine Tätigkeit vor der Kamera. Neben seiner erfolgreichen Karriere als Darsteller widmete er sich intensiv seiner zweiten großen Leidenschaft: der Musik. Mit energiegeladenen Dance- und Clubtracks, modernen elektronischen Beats und gelegentlichen orientalischen Einflüssen schuf er einen unverwechselbaren Sound, der besonders auf Tanzflächen und in Clubs für Aufmerksamkeit sorgte.

Gerade diese Vielseitigkeit macht Mitch Branson zu einer außergewöhnlichen Persönlichkeit. Während ihn viele als erfolgreichen Colt-Star kennen, beweist er als Musiker eine weitere kreative Seite und zeigt, dass Unterhaltung für ihn weit mehr bedeutet als nur ein einziges Tätigkeitsfeld. Ob vor der Kamera oder im Tonstudio – Mitch Branson versteht es, sein Publikum zu begeistern. Über seine Karriere in der Erwachsenenunterhaltung, seine Musik und seine Zukunftspläne sprach OBZ am 17. Juni 2009 mit Mitch Branson.

OBZ: What does your Music evolve from?

BRANSON: My music evolved from the heart. I’ve been producing music as a hobby since high school and always dreamed of being a success…who doesn’t. J

OBZ: Is music for you a feeling of life? Do you think music should play an important role in people’s life?

BRANSON: Music is very powerful. It’s my true love. It expresses our emotions and helps keep us stabilized.

OBZ: People can buy your music / cd here in the shops. Where else could people get your music from?

BRANSON: My current album, “Mitch Branson-Groove Compass” that features all my class projects, is available for purchase on http://cdbaby.com/cd/mbranson and Apple’s itunes. My new album “Mitch Branson-Darkness of Pleasure” will be available for purchase in July.

OBZ: What is your normal day like? A shooting Day?

BRANSON: My normal day consists of networking on line, working on my music projects and working out. I do enjoy keeping productive.

My shooting days are a little more exciting, because I get to be naked with a hot guy all day.

OBZ: Do they also direct themselves?

BRANSON: It is a combination of self-direct, but the director (John Rutherford) is specific in capturing his vision, but I’m always pleased with the results.

OBZ: Does your work affect your normal day life? What do your friends think of you?

BRANSON: My friends are very supportive with my career in the adult industry, but are surprised because I’ve always been a shy person.  It has been challenging for me personally, because the guys I like don’t want to date a porn star.

OBZ: How did you get this job?

BRANSON: COLT’s talent coordinator Manfred Speer discovered me about two years ago.  After a couple of months discussing details, I’ve decided I was ready for a new adventure as a COLT Man.

OBZ: You must get a lot of fan mail. Do you read and answer them? Is it important for you to keep your porn image, or are you a totally different person off set?

BRANSON: I do receive emails daily from admirers, and I always reply back. I keep my porn image clean no matter where I appear, because this is a business, and feel I must present COLT Studio as a professional.

OBZ: Have you ever had a problem with your libido while shooting a porn?

BRANSON: I’ve had my moments, but I work through it.

OBZ: Don’t you have any fear of contracting sexually transmitted diseases?

BRANSON: COLT Studio promotes safe sex and condoms are a must during all productions. All the COLT men are tested for HIV and must have excellent hygiene.

OBZ: What is the most embarrassing thing that happened to you on set?

BRANSON: That’s a good question, but I’m always confident on the set.

OBZ: Does a porn actor like you have other dreams and goals?

BRANSON: My goals are to build the Mitch Branson brand, continue to produce music…maybe even start my own adult web site.  My dreams are endless.

OBZ: Is it easy to become a porn actor?

BRANSON: If you have a great body, sexy face and hot cock, you will do well in the adult industry.

OBZ: Do you think that as a porn actor you should as well do other things, than to just concentrate yourself on acting? And why should you do that? Are you doing other things apart from porn acting? Music, Direction, Go-Go-Dancing, Movies producing.

BRANSON: I believe porn actors should invest their time with a variety of opportunities. Having a balance in life is healthy for one’s well being. I travel the world promoting COLT Man Mitch Branson and COLT studio. I’m currently working with a few independent music artists on future projects. I also work in sales and advertising for a corporate company on the side

OBZ: What is it that you would never do in your life?

BRANSON: I’m open to anything with in reason.

OBZ: Do you have any idols? Who are they?

BRANSON: My mom and dad. They’re by my side no matter what I do.

OBZ: Imagine you have the possibility to thank all your friends, your family and the people who are important to you in your life, what would you tell them?

BRANSON: I would tell them thanks for believing in me.

OBZ: What are your plans for the future?

BRANSON: To make the Mitch Branson Brand successful.
