Viele kennen Ste Mak noch aus der Band BBMak die weltweit drei Millionen Platten verkauften. Darunter gab es die Hit-Single „Back Here“. Nach der Trennung von BBMak, ist Ste solo unterwegs. Die Musik von Ste Mak klinkt nicht viel anders, als die von BBMak. Das liegt daran das Ste damals schon viele der Songs von BBMAK selbst schrieb.

Ohrwurmhits mit reichlich Pop und etwas Rock. Stark!

OBZ: Wie kam es zu der Trennung von BBMAK?
STE: BBMAK split up over 3 years ago the reason was that one of the guys in the band was tired of all the travelling and missed home alot so we couldn’t go on just the 2 of us so the band split.

OBZ: Haben sie noch mit Christian und Mark (BBMak) Kontakt?
STE: I went with Christian to see the Foo Fighters last week. And I spoke to mark on the phone a few days ago.

OBZ: Könnte es ein Comeback von BBMAK geben?
STE: I dont think BBMAK will get back together but you never know what will happen.

OBZ: Es gibt bereits sehr viele Songs auf Ihrer Internetseite zu hören. Wann erscheint das Album?
STE: Im still working on my album but I hope to get it finished before christmas.

OBZ: Schreiben sie die Songs selber? Und schreiben sie über Ihr Leben?
STE: I do write song about my life and things that have happened to me in the past.

OBZ: Wie entstehen Ihre Songs?
STE: A song can develope in many ways. but I always just sit with my guitar and just play and sing. try to find some chords and a melody that go together.then I write words over my melody. but sometimes I start with a song title.

OBZ: Brauchen sie Sicherheit in ihrem Privatleben, um Musik so zu machen?
STE: You dont need a secure relationship to write songs. but I think it does influence the kind of songs I write. If Im happy I write happy songs. If Im sad I write sad songs.

OBZ: Wer sind ihre Musikalischen Vorbilder?
STE: My music Idols are. The Beatles. Bob dylan. The rolling stones. The Who. Elton john. David Bowie. Lenny Kravitz. Foo Fighters and so many more.

OBZ: Mit wem würden sie gerne mal zusammen Arbeiten?
STE: When I was in BBMAK we toured with. Britney Spears. N Sync. The Corrs. Westlife. I got to meet lots of cool people.

OBZ: Was ist das wichtigste in ihrem Leben?
STE: The most important things in my life are. My family and friends. My music and my guitars.

OBZ: Was würden sie gerne ihren Fans sagen?
