Tyler Knight, geboren am 11. November 1971 in den Vereinigten Staaten, zählt zu den bekannten Persönlichkeiten der internationalen Erwachsenenunterhaltungsbranche. Heute lebt und arbeitet er in Los Angeles, Kalifornien, wo er sich über viele Jahre hinweg eine erfolgreiche Karriere aufgebaut hat.

Der mehrfach ausgezeichnete Darsteller steht für Beständigkeit in einer schnelllebigen Branche. Mit seiner langjährigen Erfahrung, seinem professionellen Auftreten und seiner markanten Präsenz vor der Kamera hat er sich einen festen Platz erarbeitet. Auch im Vergleich zu jüngeren Kollegen überzeugt er durch Routine, Selbstbewusstsein und eine klare Ausstrahlung.

OBZ: What is your normal day like?
TYLER: A typical day is I wake up early, and go to my boxing trainer. If I have a shoot that day, I arrive on set early, so I Have time to relax, and get into a good mental space for the work ahead of me. If time permits after shooting, Ill go to Jiu Jitsu, or Muay Thai kick boxing.

OBZ: Do they also direct themselves?
TYLER: Porn is a medium where you really cant „direct“ the talent. A sex scene has to flow, and be organic to work. If its apparent that the talent in the scene are more focused on what a director is saying as opposed to focusing on each other, it kills the heat. Haha, out of respect, I always ask a director what he/she is looking for out of the scene, and I ultimatly put up the 4’th wall and do what I want anyway. In the end, when the scene is great, they take the credit. Win/win.

OBZ: Does your work affect your normal day life? What do your friends think of you?
TYLER: Anyone who has a problem with my chosen profesion isnt a friend pf mine. Life is short.

OBZ: How did you get this job?
TYLER: I was approached by someone as I was leaving a public library, and asked if I wanted to do it. Since I was a model at the time, I didnt take up the offer for a good 6 months.

OBZ: You must get a lot of fan mail. Do you read and answer them? Is it important for you to keep your porn image, or are you a totally different person off set?
TYLER: I do my best to respond in a timely fashion. Essentially, I am the same person. What gets captured on film is just another facet of my personality

OBZ: Have you ever had a problem with your libido while shooting a porn?
TYLER: Problem how? As far as too much, libido, that is never considered a problem in my line ow work. Of course the opposite does happen, Im human, and on occasion, there is zero chemistry at all. Even on my worst day hpwever, I am more than capable of getttig the job done well, and most people wouldnt even notice. That comes with experience.

OBZ: Don’t you have any fear of contracting sexually transmitted diseases?
TYLER: Occupational hazzard. If that was a serious concern, I’d need a different career.

OBZ: What is the most embarassing thing that happened to you on set?
TYLER: Last Summer shooting „Comming Hme“ for Wicked Pictures. It was a sequence when I play a soldier under enemy fire. I run to take cover, and I take a face dive going full speed, and and enveloped in a huge cloud of dust.

OBZ: What is the best experience you ever had (generally)?
TYLER: Working with familliar people that I am genuinly glad to se. (the crew/ partner, director).

OBZ: Does a porn actor like you have other dreams and goals?
TYLER: Dreams are what make life livng, and goals give that life direction. Absolutly

OBZ: Is it easy to become a porn actor?
TYLER: No it isnt. Everyone thinks they can do it, however, no matter how much of a stud most new guys are behind closed doors, being able to perform with a total stranger, no matter how beautiful, in from of a crew, and under a time constraint of a shooting schedule is a totally different animal. Seldom are we on a comfortable surface, like a fluffy bed also. Ive had scenes where I worked at 4am (after being on set from noon the previous day, in full prosthetics on my face and mout for a cotume, on stone steps, in 40 degree F. weather. The crew all had coats and scarves on. (I won an AVN for that by the way, Wicked Pictures, „The Craving“). Its an entirely different skill set.

OBZ: Imagine you have the possiblity to thank all your friends, your family and the people who are important to you in your life, what would you tell them?
TYLER: Thanks for love me for who I am, and tolerating my short commings.

OBZ: What are your plans for the future?
TYLER: More great porn for the short term! Long term, keep learning new things, and expand my horizons.
