INTERVIEW!
OBZ: Do you write your own songs?
JEREMY: Yes, I do write my own songs. In fact, I have been writing since I began playing. Though, at first, the songs were nothing more than a few chords, they still helped me grow into the artist I am today. I have had no formal lessons of any sort. Therefore, my lessons came from those artists I was listening too.
OBZ: What does your songs evolve from?
JEREMY: My soul.
OBZ: You also write for other artists. Is the collaboration important to you?
JEREMY: I do not write for other artists.
OBZ: Is music for you a feeling of life? Do you think music should play an important role in people’s life?
JEREMY: I believe that music does play an important role in everyone’s life. The reason why I write a song may not be the reason you listen to the song, but both sides are just as powerful. People, usually, draw connections from experiences to the music they are listening to at that point and time. Sometimes, a song can say what you never could aloud.
OBZ: Do you always play your music live? Is that important to you?
JEREMY: I try to play live as much as I can. I feel the studio is a contained box and you cannot truly experience what the artist is trying to paint from outside the box. A live show is a wonderful palette.
OBZ: With whom would you like to work together?
JEREMY: Dave Matthews, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, G Love.
OBZ: What was the most embarrassing thing that happened to you? Was it on a concert? Or was it on another event?
JEREMY: When I was younger, I slept-walked to my refrigerator and urinated in the vegetable bin…does that count?
OBZ: People can buy your music here in the shops. Where else could people get your music from?
JEREMY: There are free download from: http://www. myspace. com/bluebirdthang. Also, you can check out my youtube channel at: http://www. youtube. com/user/jrome11983.
OBZ: Tell me about the greatest experience you had with your fans.
JEREMY: Just knowing people actual listen to my music is the best experience an artist can ask for.
OBZ: Is it important to you to keep in contact with your fans?
JEREMY: Very much so.
OBZ: What is the most important thing in your life?
JEREMY: The people I surround myself with. Happiness.
OBZ: Have you ever been to Germany before?
JEREMY: No! But I am hoping to visit soon. It’s part of my heritage. Ninety percent German blood! ☺
OBZ: Imagine now you have the opportunity to thank all your friends and family. What would you say to them?
JEREMY: Thank you!
OBZ: What can we expect of you in the future?
JEREMY: Keep listening!
