Justin Syder gehörte zu den markanten Persönlichkeiten der amerikanischen Erwachsenenunterhaltungsbranche. Der am 15. Dezember 1967 in Long Beach, Kalifornien, geborene Darsteller lebte und arbeitete auch zur Zeit des Interviews in seiner Heimatstadt. Während viele Kollegen seiner Generation bereits ihre Karriere beendet hatten, bewies Syder, dass Erfahrung, Ausstrahlung und Professionalität zeitlos sind. Mit seiner selbstbewussten Präsenz vor der Kamera und seiner unverwechselbaren Persönlichkeit etablierte er sich über Jahre hinweg als feste Größe der Branche.

OBZ: What is your normal day like? A shooting Day?
SYDER: Wake up, shower…head to set, get aquainted with my model and rock a scene for the director…go home wash my pee pee off and take a nap…haha.
OBZ: Do they also direct themselves?
SYDER: Sometimes.
OBZ: Does your work affect your normal day life? What do your friends think of you?
SYDER: I keep my home life seperate from my work life mostly…my friends in porn seem to like me well enough..the ones out of porn envy what i do and some give me shit cuz they cant watch porn anymore for fear of seein me on screen…
OBZ: How did you get this job?
SYDER: Ex-girlfriend got me on a shoot with her…she was already doin it for a long time…I rocked the scene…VCA pictures i think..and the rest is history.
OBZ: You must get a lot of fan mail. Do you read and answer them? Is it important for you to keep your porn image, or are you a totally different person off set?
SYDER: I appreciate my fans totally and stay in contact with them, help them with understanding or achieving new sexual ideas and techniques…honestly if it werent for my fans I wouldnt have a job…they’re awesome…love hearing from them….girls, couples, straight or gay males who like my movies…everyone is really gracious to me…
OBZ: Have you ever had a problem with your libido while shooting a porn?
SYDER: Everyone has bad days as we call em in porn but luckily for me Ive had very few bad days cuz the girls I work with mostly have great energy and it makes all the difference…
OBZ: Don’t you have any fear of contracting sexually transmitted diseases?
SYDER: We all test rigorously each month…full panel DNA test for everything…Im vaccinated for HPV (warts) and have good hygiene ….so do the girls i work with….
OBZ: What is the most embarassing thing that happened to you on set?
SYDER: A girl or two has had a little leak when i was fucking them in the ass but other than that nothing…My dad found out i was in porn by tuning in to his fave pornstars site „Nina Hartley“ when I was fucking her on webcam…all good…he was stoked on me …but had to shut the cam off he was watchin…haha.
OBZ: What is the best experience you ever had (generally)?
SYDER: The birth of my son….best day of my life….havin a kid and being a good parent is the only thing that makes one a real man…
OBZ: Does a porn actor like you have other dreams and goals?
SYDER: I have always done things my way…any door that opens for me as they often do…if i like what i see i run right through it and never look back…
OBZ: Is it easy to become a porn actor?
SYDER: NO…most guys dream of doing it but once your on set its a huge pressure to perform well…few can do it…very easy for girls 18-23 who are hot….
OBZ: Imagine you have the possiblity to thank all your friends, your family and the people who are important to you in your life, what would you tell them?
SYDER: Thanks for puttin up with my crazy ass….
OBZ: What are your plans for the future?
SYDER: Right now ima have some lunch…after that…who the hell knows…lol.
